Itching.

Fact :: I had the itch to do some art tonight, but not any art”work.” I love creating, or… letting something come through me to create. When I feel pressure to create, even if it is self-imposed, I tend to HAVE to doodle before getting back into the flow of other more structured projects (e.g., c h A R T s, three in the works, next offerings, next deck design, and so much more). I freed up some energy here back to finishing projects tomorrow!

Doodle.

Fact :: I was bored when I doodled this… thing. I see a tree, and some kind of guitar showing how sound moves. I also see an orange slice 🍊 what do you see? 👀

Fragility.

Fact :: When I began imagining this piece, I allowed for a gathering-of-data phase on the idea of fragility. I drove to work the next day contemplating again. In that instant, I saw an Access•a•Ride Van on my right on the highway. I cannot imagine being without my legs or my hands or anything I take for granted to live how I live now… The “simplest” thing taken from me would further expose me as even more fragile than I already am in this body. So I started to draw…

The very next day, I went to Chipotle today for work lunch, and I thought there was no line whatsoever. There was actually one person in line – someone in a wheelchair – and I didn’t see him when I walked in. Sure, there was sun glare up to a point, and sure I don’t have the best eyesight. But excuses aside… I didn’t see this man right away. The assembly line walkway was JUST the right size – I noticed how his navigation felt confined… To me, as I experienced + observed/witnessed from my perspective. That evening, I worked a little bit more on this drawing…

The next evening: a bird shat on me. No joke. I am almost 33 years old and have never had such luck! I am choosing to see it as LUCK for a number of reasons, which I won’t detail here. I finished this piece on ‘fragility’ tonight… realizing where + how my chakras are showing up… My Heart acting as roots • My Third Eye + Crown growing from there • In a desert, at night • As a Sun we may take for granted cracks open, showing its own fragility • There is more going on here… but basically my attention as I went along created new awareness on my own ‘luck’ in life • I am lucky to Be Who I Am • I Am Becoming New through experience • I Know Who I Am • I Know how I serve • Check out Paul Selig’s channeled reads… they are SO powerful!! 💕🙌

Relics.

Fact :: I am currently reading The Book of Truth, by Paul Selig. Channeled through Paul Selig. Each time I read a book in this series, I have a lot come up. The words, “…when you walk out of your house, you are also in a museum…” gave me so much information.

It seems to me that things are not really ‘done.’ I call this ‘artifact’ complete, but what does that even mean? It is all just certain matter reformed, re-created, re-dreamed, and it will be again • Like • Cities held together by paperclips • Bees buzzing toward checklists, where Mastercard is their New Age flower • Chaos + Art parachuting Life • In cycles…

“So by taking the names away and realigning the relationship to these things, what you actually do is take away the reinforcement of consciousness that solidifies them.” – The Book of Truth, Paul Selig

Waterfall.

Fact :: I randomly had the image of a waterfall by a door gifted to me. Thats how this piece started. It turned into a giant abstract musical note and the “beginning” of a scale of music. I knew it looked like a snail at that point… slow down. That was the message. I have been pushing myself to meet my own deadlines on my oracle deck publishing. I’ve met them, but exhaustion is real.

So, 4 days later, once completed with nearly every part for my major project… I placed the box how I saw it by a door 🚪 Added some blue and voala! Random art! What do you see?? PRE-ORDER FOR I AM BECOMING ORACLE DECK BEGINS 5/15!!! 🎀

Waiting.

Fact :: I sometimes feel like I am in a waiting room. That’s how I felt last night, waiting for my computer to be repaired. So, I watched a movie and did this quick draw. I got my computer back tonight, yay! 🙏🏽 Back to publishing life… ✌🏼

Hearing.

Fact :: I think I had a minor inner ear infection recently. I noticed instantly when it was clearing because it didnt sound like my left side was in the depths of an ocean anymore. I immediately thanked the Universe for my hearing. At the same time, my computer needed some TLC… and the Apple technician broke off my space bar. So. It is getting a longer repair now. Anyhow, I had this thought. I only have these ears… I must take care of them. I can’t just go into an Apple store and get new ears. I am not an amalgamation of disposable and replaceable parts. How could I forget that? In this age of technology + information, sometimes it is scary to think how “at one” anyone can become with convenient devices.

Also, I need to get back to playing my uke – the one that is 3D and looks less like a pineapple. I wonder if ukuleles were designed from a pineapple shape and I am mad that I don’t have a pineapple emoji. I still like circles and lines and asymmetry. ✌🏼

Perspective.

Fact :: Sometimes I stare at a blank page and wonder what to do with it. Tonight, after a 5 mile jog/walk + no ‘aha’ inspiration, I thought, “ok where am I now and what does it feel like?” It felt like staring into the abyss… inside of a box. So I made a (meta)square first. I am a fan of possibility, and Creation, and allowing what wants to come up to come up… and that is what moved from there. Landscapes. Key to perspective. Thinking outside of the box. The “box” of a blank page. Anything is possible. And, don’t box a Leo like me in. These are the random phrases that popped through as I went along. 💕
